IEEM (The electoral institute of the State of Mexico) will terminate senior officials’ major medical insurances – these will be completely unavailable until 2020-, as well as retirement insurances, also public telephony in order to compensate this year 130 million MXN cost-cutting annual Budget. The president counsellor, Pedro Zamudio, stated during an interview, that such measures were taken independently of this year annual savings programmed annually that left 170 million MXN saving in 2017 and 200 million MXN are expected in 2018 approximately.
He also clarified that out of the one thousand 174 million MXN of the annual Budget, 672 million MXN will be given to political parties, he pointed out.
