Census from nightlife in the Calvario is lifted

The General Directorate of the Environment of Toluca, through the Environmental Education Centre, made the Bioblitz 4.0, on the park Matlalzincas “El Calvario”, with the goal to get to know and create a list with all the species of night urban fauna that exist in the area. Also, to make sense the young people of the protection of the local environment.
On this activity, a group of volunteers of the Faculty of Urban and Regional Planning of the Universidad Autonoma del Estado de México. Coordinated by a professor Leopoldo Islas Flores, who is attaché to the CEA from the Dirección General de Seguridad Publica and the people who are interested. Will make a search of mammalians, birds, reptiles and amphibians, through some tours and different direct techniques (Sherman traps, mist nets and some others) and indirect (trap camera).
