The municipal government of Toluca, announced emerging measures to counteract the environmental contingency that spread to 16 municipalities of the Valley of Toluca, with the suspension of permits for burning pyrotechnic games; an operation to monitor compliance vehicle verification and restrictions on the use of official vehicles.
He did not rule out, in a medium or short term, the implementation of “driving ban day” in the capital. In a press conference, the mayor Juan Rodolfo Sánchez Gómez, confirmed that the levels of air pollution in the Mexican capital have reached record levels in recent months and years, because since October 2014, he said, there is not a single day with optimal quality.
