Morena Parliamentary Group in the 60th local legislature met with senior officials to hear the proposals sent by the state executive, to build two penitentiary centers and rehabilitate roads in the south of the state, through the scheme of Public Private Partnerships ( APP).
Maurilio Hernández González, leader of the Morenoist caucus, said the approval will not be automatic.
The Mexican government requested authorization to Congress to contract financing and contract obligations for more than 43 billion pesos, plus VAT, in order to build two Penitentiary Centers for Social Reintegration: one in Otumba and another in Ixtapaluca. Each center would cost more than 15 billion plus VAT.
The highway network project with a length of 1,637 kilometers, in Tejupilco, Ixtapan de la Sal and Toluca, would be 12 years with the amount of 13 thousand 629 million pesos plus VAT.
