The Legislative Commission of Surveillance of the Supreme Audit Office of the 60th Legislature, requested the temporary suspension of the Superior Auditor of the body, Fernando Valente Baz Ferreira, after concluding that he did not fulfill his powers in the auditing of the Public Account of 2017, particularly in inconsistencies detected in the accounts of UAEMex, Issemym and ISEM.
In the course of the session of the Permanent Deputation, the deputy of the Labor Party, Sergio García Sosa (PT), delivered in the plenary the opinion prepared by the aforementioned Commission after the meeting of May 27 with the auditor, and that will be channeled for processing to the Political Coordination Board.
"This Legislative Oversight Committee of the Supreme Audit Institution concludes that, derived from the evaluation meeting on the performance of the Superior Auditor, this official did not satisfactorily comply with the faculties and powers that are established in the Law of Superior Control of the State of Mexico ", Says the document.
