The deputy of Morena Faustino de la Cruz Perez warned that the delay of the Ministry of Finance in the approval of projects, for the delivery of more than 4 billion pesos from the State Fund for Municipal Strengthening (FEFOM), warns of an attempt to threaten against the City Councils and that would put them in financial complications for the advancement of public works and equipment.
Mayors of 80 City Councils formed a block to demand from the Undersecretariat of Planning and Budget of the Government of the State of Mexico (GEM) the delivery of resources from the Fund, which were approved by the 60th Local Legislature.
"It is not valid that the Ministry of Finance is threatening the local authorities. The Congress authorized them the budget and they must comply. I am sure that the Town Councils must have the requirements met as their projects approved by the Cabildo, that have the current payments to ISSEMyM, and there should be no objection to the delivery of the budget, "said the deputy of Morena.
In the case of Ecatepec, the government would receive $ 181.6 million pesos from FEFOM; Naucalpan $ 94.6; Tlalnepantla $ 75.7 million pesos, which would impact on public investment. While small municipalities related to the Governor are protected by the state administration, said the deputy.
