On the IEEM people think of the challenges of political rights of LGBTTTIQ community

During the forum "Derechos político-electorales y diversidad sexual y de género", which was organized by the Instituto Electoral del Estado de México (IEEM), it was thought of the exercise of the politic-electoral rights of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trasvesti, transexual, transgender, intersexual and queer people, through the revision of the steps made and the challenges they face to the exercise and, the making of new suggestions to make it stronger.
During the opening of the event, the counselor, the head counselor of the IEEM, Pedro Zamudio Godínez, made a recount of the movements in Mexico through the years, in favor of recognize the rights of the LGBTTTIQ community. And said that the progress of the human rights has been happening along with democratical changes. Which has allowed to make them visible and incorporate them into electoral processes and of taking decisions, to different groups that historically have been discriminated, as the collectives of sexual diversity.
