The president of the Political Coordination Board of the Local Congress, Maurilio Hernández anticipated that next week the departure or resignation of the head of the Higher Oversight Body of the State of Mexico (OSFEM), Fernando Baz Ferreira will be defined after severe questions to its performance, related to the 2017 Public Account rating.
During an interview with various media, after the presentation of the Elote Fair, the Morena parliamentary coordinator in the 60 Local Legislature, did not rule out the "voluntary" resignation of the accountant, since he recalled that since months ago they had already invited him to retire.
He also anticipated that a call for succession in the OSFEM could be issued. CONTEXT What ended the imminent removal of Baz Ferreira, was that after the revision of the 2017 Public Account, the OSFEM Surveillance Commission resolved that there are numerous audits to public entities without any type of compensation procedure.
The looting of public resources during 2017, the election year, was so severe that the Superior Audit of the Federation itself made considerable observations in the health sector, where the entire resource of the ISEM was technically looted.
