Congress Comptroller investigates 53 cases of nepotism

The Comptroller of the Legislative Power of the State of Mexico, Victorino Barrios Dávalos, reports that initiated administrative proceedings, related to 53 complaints of nepotism in more than 50 municipalities, topping the Santiago Tianguistenco list with four cases, and Toluca and Reyes la Paz with three cases each.
He explained that in addition to Santiago Tianguistenco and Toluca, investigations for nepotism (hiring of relatives by municipal officials) were initiated in the following municipalities: Tezoyuca, Zumpango, Atizapán, Cuautitlán Izcalli, Chinconcuac, Ixtlahuaca, and Ixtapan de la Sal, with two cases in each. It also has a complaint about each of the remaining 43 municipalities, determined.
