The “research” audit conducted to the finances of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEMex) in the year 2018, showed that the maximum house of studies “I continue without paying” contributions to the ISSEMYM for more than 1,300 million pesos, to the SAT for another 20 million pesos and there are items "in conciliation", for more than 154 million pesos, since 2007, in addition to breaching the "austerity" policies.
The results of the 2018 Public Account of the Supreme Audit Body of the State of Mexico (OSFEM), delivered to the 60 Local Legislature, indicate that the external investigation detected that the current administration of the maximum house of studies, neither did he pay the payroll tax (a state tax), for more than 107 million 200 thousand pesos.
In total, the firm detected at least 12 findings, most of which have to do with inadequate accounting records and non-payment of various tax obligations; while the OSFEM review itself throws other considerations, especially of inappropriate registration and account management.
The audits of both the OSFEM and the external firm, generally agree, and according to the analysis by chapter of expenses, it is reported that the university spends more on two items, since in 2018, it allocated 52.3 percent of its budget to personal services and 30.7 percent to “debt investment”, which until last year, amounted to 2 thousand 311 million 320 thousand 900 pesos, according to the OSFEM report.
