The Chilean expert, Pietro Sferrazza, acknowledged that the infiltration of corruption in the justice systems and institutions in charge of procuring it can prevent or block the operation of any mechanism of “transitional justice” such as the one that is intended to be implemented in Mexico.

In an exclusive interview after participating in the "First International Congress: attention to victims as a mechanism of transitional justice", held in Toluca, the academic also recognized that the mechanisms of protection for the violation of human rights in Mexico, they need work more towards a perspective of Justice, Truth, and Reparation.

In this regard, and as the influence that corruption can have on the implementation of a “transitional justice” system, he warned that it is a serious problem that may affect its implementation.
