Due to the fact that in recent years HIV / AIDS has increased in the Mexican entity and there is currently an average of 23,900 patients, Deputy Berenice Medrano Rosas pronounced to reinforce care programs as a public health problem and expand the information to prevent them.
Within the framework of the World Day for the Fight against AIDS, the morenista explained that according to the State Ministry of Health, the municipalities with the highest cases are Nezahualcóyotl, Ecatepec, Naucalpan, Cuautitlán, Toluca and Amecameca.
Statistics indicate that the incidence has increased in recent years because in 2013 it registered 396 new cases and by 2015 they increased to 887.
