IEEM COMMITTEES REINFORCE WORK TO PROMOTE DEMOCRACY

The Electoral Institute of the State of Mexico (IEEM), through the exercise and performance of its different Committees, improves internal processes and allows to achieve adequate compliance with substantive activities for the conduct of the election day, as well as those related to dissemination of democratic culture and the protection of the political electoral rights of citizens.
There are five Committees made up of Counselors, Electoral Counselors, Holders of the Directorates and Units assigned, as well as servants and public servants, among others.
So that the Editorial and Academic Committees are collegiate organizations where the former guarantees the quality of the academic works published by the IEEM; and the second one is in charge of the direction of the academic activities of the Electoral Training and Documentation Center, in charge of approving the study plans and programs, teaching templates and research.
Both are satisfied with the participation of both members of the Institute and external members, the latter are renowned specialists in the field and have extensive experience in the publication of dissemination works, which guarantees that their content is of great value Scientific and academic
Meanwhile, the Internal Committee of Digital Government aims to develop actions and efforts aimed at implementing in its operation and operation, the use of information and communications technologies, in order to ensure that the procedures and services provided to the citizenship
In addition to implementing policies to guarantee the protection of personal data, provided by people in the Institutional Portal www.ieem.org.mx, for the procedures and electronic services they perform in accordance with the State Digital Government Law of Mexico and Municipalities.
In turn, within this same Committee, a Subcommittee was created for the Internal Digital Government Internal Committee, which is responsible for preparing technical opinions required by law, prior to the acquisition, lease, and contracting of services in matters of information and communication technologies.
On the other hand, the Transparency Committee, which among other functions and in accordance with the General Law of Transparency and Access to Public Information is responsible for establishing, coordinating and supervising, in terms of the applicable provisions, the actions and procedures for ensure greater efficiency in the management of requests for access to information, in addition to promoting the training and updating of public electoral servers.
And, through the Committee on Acquisitions, Disposals, Leases and Contracting Services, in accordance with the electoral regulations, it is verified that in the acquisition of goods or contracting of services, the best conditions regarding price are ensured for the Institute, financing, relevance, and opportunity.
In this way, the activities carried out by the Committees of the IEEM contribute to venting in an optimal way each one of the processes that are carried out to promote democracy in the entity and in favor of citizens.
