De las Heras Demotecnia presents the third installment of #CoronaTracking, a digital survey that is carried out every eight days since the Coronavirus-derived health contingency was confirmed.
In this new installment, the perception that Mexicans have regarding the information that the authorities are providing was measured, to which, 50% said they were very up-to-date since they claimed to have the necessary information.
However, the opinion of Mexicans is divided regarding the perception they have about the actions of the President of the Republic since there is 29% who think that the president is doing just what is in his hands, while the Another 29% affirmed that López Obrador is doing less than what is in his hands.
As in the last installment, 50% of the participants commented that in this period they have not attended any public place and even 95% claimed not to have traveled in the last seven days. In addition, 57% have already stopped doing their daily activities and only 18% continue to carry out their daily routine.
Regarding the cases confirmed by COVID-19, 86% said they did not know someone with this disease. In fact, 68% consider this issue to be a serious one, but it still doesn't get out of control.
Unlike the second installment, this time 68% (seven points less) said that they have done "a lot" of the recommendations provided by the authorities. Furthermore, 44% of Mexicans consider that the actions of the Mexican government have been good.
The third survey was conducted from March 30 to April 03 to people over 18 years of age and 4,791 interviews were taken into account. If you want to participate in this tracking, click here.
