Deputies from the Morena legislature proposed cuts in various items of this year's state budget, to raise a fund of 18 thousand 300 million pesos, which would be channeled to mitigate the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic in Edomex; This includes a point so that the "bonuses and gratuities" of senior officials of the Mexican administration, are donated in a "solidarity" manner.
Azucena Cisneros Coss and Faustino de la Cruz Pérez presented the budget adjustment proposal, which would involve recovering funds allocated to non-priority programs, to the southern highway maintenance project; reductions to allocations from autonomous organizations and the "solidary resignation" of bonuses and bonuses to senior management, for 95 million pesos.
Cisneros Coss clarified that this latest proposal would only include Mexican officials with high positions in the state administration and salaries of between 68,000 and 159,000 pesos per month, and which corresponds to 407 positions.
