The Secretariat of Culture of the State of Mexico, together with the Civil Association "Ernst Saemisch", inaugurated in the Museum "Joaquín Arcadio Pagaza" the sample " lyric Transfiguration of nature ", of the German painter Ernst Saemisch.

During the inauguration of the above-mentioned exhibition, which consists of 51 works exposed until September, the presence of Thelma Morales García was noted, Boss of the Department of Museums of the Secretariat of Culture, Víctor Benítez, the Provisional Director of the Museum "Joaquín Arcadio Pagaza", and Gertrudis Zenzes, widow, and Chairwoman of the Association entrusted to preserve and spread Saemisch's work.

Such exhibition reflects the expressionist vision of the artist, died in 1984, as well as the defragmentation of the reality across drawings and paintings like: “El Lago”, “Cristales”, “Lunas”, “Rejas” and “El Hombre y la Serpiente”, which inspiration was the Magic Village of Valle de Bravo, due to its culture, landscapes and inhabitants, place in which he lived between the years from 1965 to 1983.

During the opening, it was announced that there will be the opportunity to acquire the works of the painter during the next two months, as a tribute to the " return of his origins " and also they will find available limited specimens of the book - catalog of Saemisch's work.

Morales García was grateful for the opportunity to share with the people the marvels inspired by the above-mentioned place since the public will be able to estimate them and even obtain them.

Likewise, Morales García said she was satisfied to receive in the diverse museums' spaces, the work of important artists who leave us as the legacy a part of their own thoughts and feelings that remain formed forever in their artistic works.
