The rupture in one of the sides of the Lerma River has left 600 housing affected and 2 thousand 860 affected people in San Mateo Atenco.

As will be recalled, flooding occurred around Friday´s midnight and on Saturday´s afternoon the DN3 plan was deployed on its assistance phase.

Until last night, a 60% of progress was reported in the repair of the barrier by collocating 12 thousand hundred sacks of sand.

CONAGUA (the National Water department) hopes to conclude the works to stop the flood this same afternoon with 20 thousand extra sacks. After this they will follow to do the reinforcement of the whole barrier and the disinfection of the flooded housing.

There were one thousand 500 food packs, one thousand 500 cans of milk powder, 500 bottles of water, on thousand and 500 blankets,760 pairs of boots, 450 raincoats, 600 cleaning kits, 10 water storage tanks and a thousand water storing sacks delivered directly on affected housing.

There are 14 health brigades conformed by 85 people.

The San Mateo Atenco Town Hall activated 4 temporal refugees from which 2 are currently operating to provide services of sleeping accommodation, physician, alimentation and shower for personal hygiene.

The place currently counts with 200 elements from SEDENA (National Department of Defense), 260 from State security and 100 elements from CAEM
