The town council approved the creation of the Municipal Institute of the Women in Toluca, first of its kind on the State of Mexico. As a concrete response to the issues that the gender alert represents, which was introduced in 2015, said the mayor Juan Rodolfo Sánchez Gómez.
All this, after the councillor, agreed on taking the creation of the Public Decentralized Organization before the LX Legislature of the Estado de México. Called the Instituto Municipal de Planeación de Toluca and the Instituto Municipal de la Mujer en Toluca.
