The 60th Legislature of the Estado de México will make history as the first in having reached a party configuration, technically perfect with 37 congresswomen and 38 congressmen.
Of the 45 councils of the relative majority, women have 22 seats that are 48.88% and of 30 Council for the principle or proportional representation, legislative women occupy 15. Towns who have a preference for someone? Nope, but there we are.
The recent report of the IEEM in the eve of May 8th indicates that in the structure of Municipal Town Halls for 2019-2021 they reached 39 women elected as Municipal Presidents and they represent 31.20% and 93 official receivers, as 719 councillors.
