Civil Protection of the State of Mexico made some walks to verify and guarantee that the evacuation routes near the volcano are in good shape and with the sufficient signposting. Before the increase of activity that the volcano registered.
The Comité Cientifico Asesor of the volcano recommended changing the alert to a category up, which, according to the data of the Centro Nacional de Prevención de Desastres it is a preventive step before the observed changes. 95% of this alert goes to the actions that the state, municipal, and federal authorities must do. That’s the case of their respective operational plans to coincide and to make stronger the communication mechanisms to the inhabitants.
