Monitoring the volcano, stays on phase yellow 3
March 28th, 2019
On March 28, based on the analysis of the data available, the Comité Cientifico Asesor of the Popocatepetl volcano recommended changing the phase from yellow 2 to yellow 3, which is a preventive step before the observed changes. On the last 24 hours, through the monitoring systems of the volcano, were identified 119 spews of gas, with a steam of water, volcanic gas and a low content on ashes.

I did not feel the two tremors yesterday here at el Oasis in Puebla but the exhalations seem constant since this morning .
