The previous government improperly authorized a permission to cut down 287 trees, in order to build the urban highway Siervo de La Nación. The affectation that includes the zone of El Dique, which is already expired and will not be renewed by the government.
David Armando Alcantara, the coordinator of the inspection, verification and normativity from the municipal Dirección del Medio Ambiente y Ecología pointed out that the permissions were given last December to the construction company, in spite of not having the state technical environmental rule.
