There is a new Environmental Contingencies Program in the Valley of Mexico and Toluca

This Wednesday authorities of the center of the country, presented in Mexico City (CDMX), the new Environmental Contingencies Program of the Metropolitan Zone of the Valley of Mexico (ZMVM), which will now be extended to 59 Mexican municipalities of the conurbated zone to the capital of the country, and to 22 municipalities of the Valley of Toluca.
The new program includes new contingency phases and among the practical issues that will impact the population, is the fact that vehicles with "zero" and "double zero" decal will no longer have immunity and will stop circulating in full contingencies, as happened recently.
The new program includes the updating of contingency programs to reduce concentrations of ozone and PM 10 particles, preparation of a contingency plan to contain and reduce PM 2.5 emission, as well as the creation of two new phases, preventive and of combined contingency, which will unite efforts and align strategies.
