A judge of the Judicial Power of the State of Mexico, decreed the acquittal and immediate release of six residents of the community of Salazar, of the municipality of Lerma, arbitrarily detained in August 2017, with trumped-up charges
The six, including three women, were illegaly apprehended in August 2017, by elements of the State of Mexico police who violently broke into their homes, during an early morning and without an arrest warrant.
Finally this Wednesday, the PJEM, confirmed the acquittal in favor of Miguel Ángel Vilchis García, Fermín Esquivel Rojas, Beatriz Pérez Flores, Cutberto Vilchis García, Daneyra and Yuriko Villavicencio, not finding them responsible for the criminal behavior attributed to them. The terms of the sentence were: "acquittal and immediate freedom", according to the ruling.
