A sports center in ruins which was abandoned for more than two decades and was a refuge for the survivors is rescued by inhabitants of the Plan de Ayala colony and authorities of Ecatepec. Currently accommodates about 100 children and young people who practice boxing and soccer.
More than 20 years of forgetfulness were the scene of the "Frontón de Altura" tournament, held on July 6 at the sports center called Plan de Ayala by the community of the same name, located in the Sierra de Guadalupe, which initiates the rescue of these deteriorated facilities. So that they can be used by the community again.
"The objective is to rehabilitate and revive the sport center and what better than a lightning tournament of fronton", said Erick Ayala Limón, director of Physical Culture and Sports of Ecatepec.
