The government of Ecatepec approved in a town hall session to channel 55 million pesos for the purchase of luminaires and materials necessary for its installation in the 13 colonies of the municipality considered high crime incidence.
Janeth Herrera Cruz, municipal treasurer, explained that the resources to acquire this infrastructure will be obtained from the reconduction of what was previously intended for the concepts of other goods, outsourcing of services to third parties and debts from previous years.
She added that the arrival of 12 million pesos from the State Municipal Strengthening Fund (Fefom) for the same item is also expected, as well as another 12 million pesos of own resources will be allocated for street beaconing.
