The president of the Political Coordination Board of the 60 local Legislature, Maurilio Hernández González informed that the state Congress will issue the call for the election of the Internal Comptroller of the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEM) after the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation will confirm yesterday this power to the Legislative Power.
Unanimously, the Second Court Chamber denied constitutional protection promoted in 2017 by the UAEM, which called for the reform that empowers the state Congress to appoint the head of the Internal Control Body of that university.
The resolution of the Court confirms the power to Congress and for the serious offenses of the institution's officials to be sanctioned by the Court of Administrative Justice of the State of Mexico
