The congressman, Max Correa Hernandez, presented the initiative of Law of the System of Civil Protection and Integral Risk Management of Disasters of the State of Mexico, which harmonizes our laws with the normative standard of the United Nations (UN) and prioritizes the investment for prevention and mitigation groups.
After pointing out that, nowadays the mexiquense Civil Protection works by traditional diagrams made in the 90’s, explained that Mexico signed the Hyogo Framework for Action and presented progress on the evaluation of 2015. Nevertheless, the international community is now on the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2012-2015, and our country, particularly the State of Mexico has not updated his normativity on matter of Civil Protection and Disaster Risk Reduction.
