IEEM APPROVES ADJUSTMENT TO THE 2020 INCOME BUDGET

The General Council of the Electoral Institute of the State of Mexico (IEEM) approved the Adjustment Agreement for the Expenditure Budget, for the fiscal year 2020, which seeks to fulfill the purposes and powers entrusted as those related to preparation of the Electoral Process 2020-2021, in which the local Legislature and representatives of the City Councils will vote for Deputations.
During the 1st Special Session it was detailed that, with said adjustment to the budget, the substantive activities of the electoral body will continue, without affecting the work that allows the promotion and development of democratic life in the entity.
Thus, the adjustment responds to the allocation made by the LX Legislature of the State of Mexico, so it is estimated that the amounts redistributed and allocated by the chapter of expenditure, budget, subprograms, projects, and activities, are consistent with the assigned and sufficient concepts to execute ordinary institutional activities.
In addition to the above and as part of the agenda, the Agreement of Adjustments to the Annual Program of Activities of the IEEM was also approved, for the year 2020, in which it is noted that, of the 321 scheduled activities planned in the Programmatic Opening, two were modified in its wording; and 8 were eliminated to finally be 313 duly integrated.
During the session, the Agreement determining the Public Financing for Ordinary and Specific Activities of Accredited Political Parties and with registration before
The IEEM, for the year 2020, which was widely explained by the members of the General Council, agreeing on the proposal of the Electoral Councilor Daniella Durán Ceja, the inclusion of the criteria of the recital.
Thus, the public financing of the political parties was established for the total amount of 658 million 354 thousand, 795.14 pesos.
In turn, the Agreement approving José Pablo Carmona Villena as the new Head of the Computing and Statistical Unit of the IEEM was approved, by complying with the requirements set forth in articles 24, numeral 1, of the Election Regulations and 198, second paragraph of the Electoral Code of the State of Mexico.
Before starting the session, the law protest was made to the representative of the Party of the Democratic Revolution, José Juan Barrientos Maya.
