The Ecatepec government opened the registration to enroll in the Women's Driving School, the only one of its kind at the municipal level and which in its first stage will have a thousand participants in the course, taught free of charge by certified instructors.
Mayor Fernando Vilchis Contreras announced the opening of the registry to applicants to receive the aforementioned driving course, who must be inhabitants of Ecatepec and meet basic requirements.
The course will be taught for three weeks and will have certified instructors. It will consist of theory and practice in classes of two hours a day from Monday to Saturday, in addition to the participants will also receive training in civil protection and first aid.
Vilchis Contreras said the course will be in charge of the Mobility and Transportation Directorate of the state government, which already has six cars to start classes.
“We are days of the flag for the Driving School for Women. It is one of the main axes to train women in the first municipal school. We are seeing how we recruit instructors, how we agree to develop these types of activities, ”he said.
