Federal, local deputies, senators and morenista mayors of the entity will propose to integrate a special party with federal, state, and municipal resources to deliver the "unemployment bonus", in the most populated municipalities, to people who lost their jobs due to Covid 19 health emergency.
It should be noted that data from the Federal Government's Secretary of Labor indicate that at least 16,000 Mexicans were fired, between March 13 and April 6; while the INEGI reported this Monday an increase in unemployment in Edomex from 4.3 to 5.0% among the economically active population (PEA), from March 2019 to last March.
In this regard, Senator Higinio Martínez Miranda explained that they held two meetings on different days in Metepec and Texcoco, with mayors and legislators, taking sanitary measures with a healthy distance and using mouth masks, to analyze the issue. At the meeting, it was agreed that the popular representatives of the Morenoites and of the Coalition make a common cause in the face of the economic consequences faced by the inhabitants due to the pandemic.
"We are going to review the budget and reorient part of it, not only tell the Governor but also the municipalities to obtain a good amount of money that allows us to support the people in eating," said the senator.
