IEEM performs activities to optimize the electoral process 2021

With a view to the activities of the next Electoral Process 2021, the Political Parties Directorate of the Electoral Institute of the State of Mexico (IEEM) has carried out different actions, among which the teaching of virtual courses in the videoconference modality on Independent Candidacies, aimed at Citizens interested in this topic, who have responded very favorably to calls to participate.
In this sense, it is noteworthy that the figure of Independent Candidacies has had great advances during the Electoral 2014-2015 9 sheets were registered for City Councils. In 2017-2018, there were 18 registered forms plus a formula for a local council; In addition, in the 2017 election to the Governor's Office, there was an independent candidate.
In turn, the DPP finds the analysis of the regulations that will govern the next electoral process to adapt to the new changes derived from the recent modifications in the electoral matter in the State, which includes issues related to political parties and Independent Candidacies.
In this way, the analysis of the strategies to be developed as part of the Annual Program of Activities 2021 is also carried out, at the same time that it makes the recording and monitoring of radio stations and television channels to verify among others data, the times of the political institutes, at the same time that the sketches of the future reports of the Registration System of Aspirants to Monitorists are prepared and validated.
At the same time, and in compliance with transparency obligations, the DPP continues with the validation and updating of the fractions of the IPOMEX portal that are within its competence. In this way, with the development of the different activities, the IEEM seeks processes of processing and construction of citizenship, promoting activities in a virtual way through videoconferences to protect the integrity of people and public electoral servers.
